Deal Of The Week!

Hello M:R Nation –

The snow from yesterday has mostly melted away. It  didn’t stay for long, but certainly did its damage. At this time of year, with this type of weather, we usually see a good amount of damage caused by the snow and the cold in general. From the “I slipped and fell while my iPhone 4Ss was in my pocket” to the “I left my iPhone 4 in my car at -10 degrees” we have seen it all and none of it is very pretty. Especially when it involves a sled, a snowy hill and an empty coat pocket at the bottom.

Snow to the left, snow to the right

Snow to the left, snow to the right

I know talks of a broken Smartphone can ruin ones mood, so I will stop right here, but please, allow me to introduce you to our newest Deal Of The Week! The iPhone 4S is still a staple in the smartphone world. It is still outselling many Samsung, LG, HTC and Motorola models which is impressive for a phone with such age :-). With this knowledge, we found it importunate to offer up the iPhone 4S for a Deal Of The Week once again!

Both the iPhone 4S Glass and Screen Repair (AT&T, Verizon & Sprint) – Black and iPhone 4S Glass and Screen Repair (AT&T, Verizon & Sprint) – White are at set at the low price of $69.00! We are excited to help you out with your smartphone needs and want to make as easy and cost effective as possible for you. If you have any questions or comments, please don’t hesitate to call 866-638-8402 or email sales@missionrepair.com

The Weather Outside Is Frightful!

Hello M:R Nation –

If you are anywhere close to Kansas City, I know you are as cold as I am. We were subject to the massive winter storm that rolled through the midwest. Granted, we only received the tail end of the storm, but it was enough to knock out the power on our street for hours and my iPhone was the only I could navigate through our building.

No Day, Like A Snow Day!

No Day, Like A Snow Day!

Yes, you heard me correctly, HOURS! Now, power did return and things got to flowing like usual here at Mission:Repair. We were able to still meet our goals and it ended up a fairly great day. This doesn’t mean we don’t feel bad about the time that we missed. So to make up for it, I am going to offer a speical coupon for a whopping 15% off! This code will be valid until Sunday and will be for your entire order! Use coupon code: snowday12 for a little extra savings and please forgive our tardiness this morning.

p.s – Reminder: just because you have a car with AWD capabilities, doesn’t mean that the brakes work any better than a normal car… I re-learned that the hard way today.

Cheers, Troy

Neither Rain, Nor Sleet, Nor Snow. Well, maybe Snow.

Hello again everyone, it’s getting a tad cool outside at the moment over here at the Mission Repair headquarters.

I just looked at our forecast and it’s going to pretty much snow on us tonight. There’s a blizzard warning all across the Midwest, and Kansas City is going to get caught in it as well. Being Midwesterners, we expect snow. It’s OK, most of us have four wheel drive vehicles and we’re used to the winter weather. But there’s something to be said for the first snow of the year and “getting into the rhythm” of winter. Well, I rode my motorcycle yesterday, and tomorrow it’s going to be 10 degrees with the wind chill. WHAM! Hello Winter!

Here’s tonight’s forecast:

Well, we’ll make it into work, this is not a “closing” type of winter storm, however I would expect delays at the airport which may effect our ability to receive and send FedEx packages tomorrow. We will do our best to ensure that everything is received as quickly as possible, but when Mother Nature strikes, we’re kind of at her mercy!

So wish us luck, and we’ll be in touch. I promise that we’ll blog tomorrow to let you know that business is open and rocking. I just hope that if you’re in the path of the major blizzard system, that you’re prepared. You’ll need water, food, heat, and other items. Check out our sister company Mission Survivor, if you’re ever in need of prepping items!

Take care, talk to you tomorrow. Ryan

Minute to Win It at Mission Repair!

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since we got caught up on our company Olympic events. Well, last week it was a Minute to Win It competition…that was a huge success!

Do you know about “Minute to Win It?” Minute to Win It was an American prime time game show that ran on NBC from March 14, 2010 to September 7, 2011, being hosted by Guy Fieri. Contestants took part in a series of 60-second challenges that use objects that are commonly available around the house.

So we concocted our own fun version and had a blast after work last Thursday night. Here’s Lennie, playing “Candelier”:

And Casey is playing “A Bit Dicey”, stacking dice on his popcicle stick in his mouth. Yes that’s me in the background with the timer. It’s very flattering…not:

So what happens when you win an Olympic event? Well, after 12 months of events, the employee with the most wins receives a trip to New York City for a long weekend! The best part about this annual giveaway is that we have the final event and the decision announced this Friday evening at our Company Christmas Party event.

It’s going to be an amazing time, and I’ll announce the winner right here in our blog next week. I’ll also try to get a couple of action shots at the Christmas party too. You know, the incriminating kind 😉

Take care, Ryan
