Neither Rain, Nor Sleet, Nor Snow. Well, maybe Snow.

Hello again everyone, it’s getting a tad cool outside at the moment over here at the Mission Repair headquarters.

I just looked at our forecast and it’s going to pretty much snow on us tonight. There’s a blizzard warning all across the Midwest, and Kansas City is going to get caught in it as well. Being Midwesterners, we expect snow. It’s OK, most of us have four wheel drive vehicles and we’re used to the winter weather. But there’s something to be said for the first snow of the year and “getting into the rhythm” of winter. Well, I rode my motorcycle yesterday, and tomorrow it’s going to be 10 degrees with the wind chill. WHAM! Hello Winter!

Here’s tonight’s forecast:

Well, we’ll make it into work, this is not a “closing” type of winter storm, however I would expect delays at the airport which may effect our ability to receive and send FedEx packages tomorrow. We will do our best to ensure that everything is received as quickly as possible, but when Mother Nature strikes, we’re kind of at her mercy!

So wish us luck, and we’ll be in touch. I promise that we’ll blog tomorrow to let you know that business is open and rocking. I just hope that if you’re in the path of the major blizzard system, that you’re prepared. You’ll need water, food, heat, and other items. Check out our sister company Mission Survivor, if you’re ever in need of prepping items!

Take care, talk to you tomorrow. Ryan

Minute to Win It at Mission Repair!

Hello everyone, it’s been a while since we got caught up on our company Olympic events. Well, last week it was a Minute to Win It competition…that was a huge success!

Do you know about “Minute to Win It?” Minute to Win It was an American prime time game show that ran on NBC from March 14, 2010 to September 7, 2011, being hosted by Guy Fieri. Contestants took part in a series of 60-second challenges that use objects that are commonly available around the house.

So we concocted our own fun version and had a blast after work last Thursday night. Here’s Lennie, playing “Candelier”:

And Casey is playing “A Bit Dicey”, stacking dice on his popcicle stick in his mouth. Yes that’s me in the background with the timer. It’s very flattering…not:

So what happens when you win an Olympic event? Well, after 12 months of events, the employee with the most wins receives a trip to New York City for a long weekend! The best part about this annual giveaway is that we have the final event and the decision announced this Friday evening at our Company Christmas Party event.

It’s going to be an amazing time, and I’ll announce the winner right here in our blog next week. I’ll also try to get a couple of action shots at the Christmas party too. You know, the incriminating kind 😉

Take care, Ryan

Nokia Lumia 920 Front Glass & LCD Screen Repair = Success!

Hello M:R Nation

Sadly, I was not voted Time’s “Person Of The Year” again this year. It was a tight race between Barack Obama, Tim Cook and myself and it looks like the POTUS took the cake this time around. I can’t say that I am not a little disappointed, but hey, I guess the most powerful man in the world has a little more pull than I do. Thankfully, I walked in this morning to something great to pull me through this heartbreaker of a loss.

Now, this is the Nokia Lumia 920. We recently announced the new repair service on this beauty and it has been a very welcomed service to say the least. Above is just one of the many Nokia Lumia 920 smartphones that we have serviced and what it looks like cracked. This is a rather heave phone and it is very substantial in the hand. If it slips out of your hand, it will most likely fall face forward and crack like the example above.

As you can imagine, the best way to avoid this nightmare is to just not drop it, but that is much easier said than done. I, myself am no exception to the rule. I have cracked many of my devices and with my career you would think this is something I’d be immune to. This is not the case at all.

You can start your order for the Nokia Lumia 920 Front Glass & LCD Screen Repair today by visiting http://www.Missionrepair.com or giving us a ring at 866-638-8402. We will get you fixed up and maybe we can be your Persons Of The Year 🙂

Cheers, Troy
