Graduations are abound!

Good morning all-

My son, Casey, “graduated” from 8th grade yesterday. I actually went into the event thinking “It’s just 8th grade, not a huge deal” but Casey pulled me aside and said “Dad, I feel special today”.

That struck a chord with me. He is special – as we all are – and all he was looking for was some love and support from his family. So I called in some markers!

We generated a pretty good sized cheering section for him at the diploma ceremony. Since his last name is “Arter” – he was the first to walk up and get his diploma. Naturally we were ready for him – we prepped our group of about 10 people, and once he physically received his diploma in his hand we started our ruckus! I have a pretty mean “whistle” so along with all of the other family cheering and screaming it was impressive support. . .and he blushed, took his walk down the staircase, and resumed his place in the seating area.

It made me think – although we hear this all the time – that life does fly by. Time moves fast. We have a limited amount of time here and we should try to be happy! I’m working on this constantly with myself and most certainly my kids make me happy. My business, even though it brings mountains of stress, makes me happy. There are a great many things that I still want to see and experience (Casey’s High School Graduation for example) and I’m going to do my best to make the world a better place, be a positive part of the community and earn the respect of those around me.

With that being said have a great day, I’ll be back to blog more soon but remember to stop and smell the roses once in a while.

Take care,

It’s graduation time, let’s run a special this weekend.

Hello all,

I woke up this morning to see my son Casey off to his last day of 8th grade. He was looking happy and relaxed and excited – I can remember my last day of 8th grade as well, my last day at Sierramont Middle School in San Jose, CA. Casey will be in High School starting in the fall, it really is so true when people say “time flies”.

So I’ve got 2 graduation ceremonies to attend to this weekend along with Casey’s 8th grade “promotion” next week. It’s going to be a ton of fun and a few parties this weekend sound like just what I need!

In celebration of all the graduates out there, we’re going to run a special on all of our services this weekend through 5/25/11. 10% off our entire store. Just use the Mission Repair coupon code “grad” to watch that 10% disappear from your order. This will also take 10% off of your shipping charges as well- I know, Mission Repair and Got Repair already offer the best shipping prices in the industry. . .enjoy that extra little tidbit and take care of those grads!

I’ll be back soon with more goodies from Mission Repair! Ryan

LG Xenon Cell Phone Repairs announced today!

Hello again everyone,

I’m back to announce another new set of services exclusively from Mission Repair.

The LG Xenon Screen Repair Service and the LG Xenon Diagnosis Services are now available and we’re taking orders immediately!

Services now available at Mission Repair!

The LG Xenon has an attractive touch-screen display, a great QWERTY keyboard, customizable standby screens, plenty of shortcuts, and lots of features like 3G speeds, quad-band support, a 2-megapixel camera, GPS, and more.

We’ve got the parts in stock and we’re even offering LG Xenon do-it-yourself parts for those customers that want to try their own repair. We’re like the Home Depot of the electronics world.

How does “Mission Depot” or “Mission:Depot Repair” sound? Yeah, I don’t like those either. They are just silly.

I’m going to stick with the brand that is well known and relevant. Mission Repair. Yeah, I like the sound of that!

Take care, Ryan

Ok, I cracked my iPhone glass. The solution…

Good morning friends, it was all good until I got out of my truck today, hands full, and I dropped my iPhone 4 which landed on the concrete with a tell-tell “clickety-clack-thud”. I didn’t even see it happen, rather only heard it. I knew exactly what I was in for.

Another iPhone Victim. Thank goodness I'm at Mission Repair!

Here’s the setup. I got in my truck at my house with a cup of coffee, my wallet, my iPad and MacBook Air in hand. It was a full load. I set my coffee in the open cup holder (the other cup holder is full of spare change) and set my phone in my lap (mistake!)

When I got to work, I grabbed my coffee, laptop and iPad. Slid out of the truck and “slam!” I forgot about my phone that was silently sitting in my lap. Yikes! There were a lot of forces working against me here.

1. I typically DO NOT take coffee with me. We’ve got 2 coffee pots at the office!
2. I typically slip my iPhone into that open cup holder.
3. I typically get at least ONE phone call during my 10 minute drive to work. I didn’t today, and it enabled me to “forget” about my phone! That’s a rarity!

I think that this combination of factors caused me to change my procedure and in turn my iPhone paid the price. Well, I own an iPhone repair business and it still made me cringe. I can’t imagine what I’d do if I didn’t know what to do at this point. Call Apple? Visit AT&T? They will both tell you that it’s damaged and out of warranty.

I have the solution. Visit our iPhone 4 glass repair page. It’s the fastest way to get your (my) iPhone back in good health. We’ve got the parts in stock, the Macintosh Certified Technicians on hand, and the expertise to do your repair right. We also have something that no other business offers. After having your repair done with us if you ever accidentally drop and crack that screen again, we’ll repair it again under our “Got Repair” program that costs you nothing up front. ZERO. You’re automatically covered with us in the event you throw off your own morning routine and drop your iPhone like I did!

OK, let me know if you have any questions. I need to get my phone repaired now!
