Hello there- how was your New Year celebration? Did you celebrate at all? I managed to stay up until midnight on 12/31 to see 2011 start off the right way! I actually took last week off for vacation to spend some time with my parents and get some of my household chores caught up. I slept a lot (something I don’t normally do) and got some projects done that I needed to get done. It wasn’t a “tropical” vacation, but it was sure nice to take a much needed break. I’m recharged!!
So we’re heading off to CES in Vegas on Wednesday morning. Troy (my Operations manager) and I are catching an early flight and have a full schedule of meetings and appointments. I’m packing the suit (also something I don’t normally do) and networking with a large group of fellow business owners. It should prove to be a good time.
So here’s my first 2011 blog (it’s been about a week, I wanted to get SOMETHING posted) and since I’m on topic, let me share a few statistics with you about our Mission Repair blog. . .
The Louvre Museum has 8.5 million visitors per year. Our blog was viewed about 180,000 times in 2010. If it were an exhibit at The Louvre Museum, it would take 8 days for that many people to see it.
Finally, and my most coveted of stats is that we’ve had over 300,000 unique visitors to the blog since it’s inception and you’re one of them! Thank you for reading and I promise to keep posting. You’re why I do it!
Thanks, I’ll be back soon before the CES activities begin. Ryan
