Well, here you go, just as I promised. A quick blog sharing a picture of the very same iPhone I blogged about earlier today. After QA, this iPhone 4 is ready to ship back to our customer. iPhone 4 glass repairs, you saw it here first at Mission Repair!
Like magic, it's as good as new again!
This customer is thrilled, and is back in business. So remember, we CAN and we WILL fix your iPhone. We’re the best in the business 😉 Keep us on file!
Hello everyone- here’s what a brand new iPhone looks like when it’s shattered. Yup, just like that mental picture in your head, right? I feel terrible for the customers that this happens to. . .it’s true. iPhone 4 repairs are coming in daily – already!
We'll have this fixed and shipped back out today!
Even though my business is repairing iPhones, it’s still disheartening to have a customer call the day after they bought their brand new iPhone 4 to order a service for repair. I know that it’s a bad deal. I know that it hurts. I know that you just want to use your new iPhone (when it’s being sent to my repair center for a new screen). I want to assure you, we will do our best to keep our prices down (we’ll look at them daily and adjust them as our new stock rolls in) and we’ll do our best to get the repair turned around the same day. I also promise that I’ll make sure to understand what you’re going through and make it as easy and as painless as possible.
Check back in a little while- I’ll post a picture of this same iPhone, repaired, and going back out to my customer. It’s just what we do!
Thanks everyone, talk to you again soon.
Good morning everyone-
Ok, well, I know that you’ve all read about “How to hold” your iPhone 4 do you don’t interfere with it’s signal. From Apple:
“Gripping any mobile phone will result in some attenuation of its antenna performance, with certain places being worse than others depending on the placement of the antennas,” Apple said today in an e-mailed statement. “If you ever experience this on your iPhone 4, avoid gripping it in the lower left corner in a way that covers both sides of the black strip in the metal band, or simply use one of many available cases.”
Ok, so they are working out a few kinks. This always seems to be the case when a brand new product rolls out.
Here’s the meat of my blog post today: The very NEXT day after the iPhone was released we took and order for an iPhone 4 screen repair. Then the next day we took another. And daily we have been taking them. It’s obvious that this is going to be an issue for the iPhone 4 customers just like the previous versions of the iPhone.
So we here at Mission Repair are happy to be providing this service immediately. We’ve got the parts in stock and the experience to install. It’s a bummer, we know, and we’re trying to make the repair as painless as possible.
So it’s CONFIRMED. The iPhone 4 is susceptible to screen cracks and breakage and we here at Mission Repair are here to help.
I’ll be back soon – have a great Monday afternoon!
Hello everyone, did you get your iPhone 4 today? We did! The “face time” feature is awesome, even if you do have to be in a Wifi zone. Just holding this new iPhone in comparison to the 3GS iPhone is a big difference. It’s noticeably thinner and more “square”. The high resolution screen is unbelievable. Kinda fun now isn’t it? Here’s a shot from the masses down at our local Apple Store:
Did you wait in a line like this? We did!
We are certainly going to see a lot of these roll through the doors- with the front and back of this new iPhone being GLASS, I can just see it now- iPhone 4 Glass repair and iPhone Repair kits are going to be a holiday hit. Not to worry, remember that Mission Repair is here to help ease those pains when the time comes; check back here for specials and coupons to save even more. I promise.
Some very cool new things happening around here at Mission Repair. I’ll be back in touch soon!
Hello everyone, happy Wednesday!
Things are really moving around here at Mission Repair. Watch for us in the Kansas City Star this week, we participated in a really great interview. The reported asked me to send a picture – a “head shot”. I’m a little nervous about seeing myself front and center. Normally, I’ll send a company logo, a shot of the inside of our building, or a picture of some iPhone parts. Not this time, it’s just me 😉
We have just been told that our part costs on many iPhone 3GS skus have dropped. We are buying in huge quantities and we are ready to pass along some price decreases to you! Check out our iPhone 3GS repair pages and we are working on our new pricing over the next couple of days. For example, the 3GS LCD repair was dropped by over $30. That’s HUGE! Check it out, just wanted to let you know.
