Just a little holiday baking information-

Well good morning!

Last One’s the Rotten Egg – or Not?

I came across this little tidbit yesterday and thought that I’d pass it along. . .

If you have a carton of eggs past the expiration date, it’s a gamble on whether the eggs are actually rotten. How can you tell without cracking one open and ruining the cake batter? Put them to the test.

Fill a bowl with cold water and place an egg in the water. If it sinks to the bottom, the egg is still good. If it floats, it’s a bad egg and needs to be tossed. If it sinks to the bottom but stands on end, it needs to be used soon!

Well, I do pride myself as the chef of the household and now I know. Or, if you have a cute neighbor, just toss all of your eggs and go borrow one. Now that’s a good tip 😉

What does this have to do with Mission Repair? Well, nothin. Just thought that I’d pass along this info!

Thanks, BRB, Ryan
