A couple pics from our luncheon today!

Ok, as promised, the newly unveiled Mission Repair breakroom in all of it’s glory! I cooked a ham in our new kitchen:

We had a meal fit for a king! Warm glazed ham, a pot full of simmering baked beans, rolls, chips and even fresh pumpkin and apple pies! It was a fun filled afternoon as the group took shifts hanging out in our lunch area and game room:

Yup, it was a great afternoon of good smells and it was a good warm-up for tomorrow’s feast. I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving and be safe. Don’t forget to be thankful for what you’ve got, I know I am!

Hello there, can you smell the turkey cooking yet? Well, I can. In my mind. Yummy! We’re having a Thanksgiving feast here at Mission Repair tomorrow (Wednesday) before Thanksgiving. I was going to roast a turkey in our new kitchen but turkey twice in a row didn’t sound right. Instead, I’m going to be slow-cooking a brown sugar glazed ham for a few hours then making ham sandwiches for our group. I’ll be sure and post a picture or two tomorrow!
