Broken T Mobile Sidekick?

Hello all,

We are steadily moving forward expanding our line of repair services. Yes, we repair iPod, iPhone, MacBook and MacBook Pros, Sony PSP Consoles, etc. But we are looking forward to a new group of repairs – specifically cell phones.

We’d like to start working on the TMOBILE Sidekick. There are a few revisions of the Sidekick out there (I’ve owned 2 of them) but we don’t care which model you’ve got, we just WANT IT. Here’s the deal: we’re offering a few “Guinea Pig” repairs for those customers that feel like they have nothing to lose by sending in their broken TMOBILE Sidekick to us. In exchange, we’ll diagnose the unit for free, and offer the repair at our cost. This will be a significant savings and you’ll be able to contribute to the success of a new cell phone repair program here at Mission Repair. Yes, that’s got to be worth something, right? Sure it is!

If you’re interested in helping us “learn” the TMOBILE Sidekick, call us at 1-866-638-8402 and we’ll work out the details. Until then, have a great weekend and talk to you soon.

Ryan

iPhone 3G parts – INCOMING!

Hello all- we’re in the iPhone mood over here at Mission Repair, and we’re ramping up for the NEW 3G verion of the iPhone. We want to be ready and offer repair services for the iPhone 3G just as we do for other electronics.

We’ve gotten a first look at some of the replacement parts, and we want to pass the pics onto you. Here’s a picture of the bezel, and if you know anything about the original iPhones, you’ll quickly be able to tell that the bezels are very different and not interchangeable:

Here’s a picture of the headphone jack/power button assembly, which is also a new part:

I think that it’s safe to say that we’ll be looking at a totally new set of parts on the new iPhone 3G, and we’ll post pictures of service and repair parts as they come available to us. Thanks for reading and stay tuned. Ryan

We’re back in town (and my repair blog is late!)

Hey there Mission Repair Blog Readers! Well, our trip to Table Rock lake was a huge success, and we received some much needed rest and relaxation on the lake. We had plenty to eat and a lot of laughs. Here’s a picture of Kyle wakeboarding off into the sunset – I took the pic from our pontoon boat.

Speaking of the pontoon boat, here’s a batch of us on the way to the Big Cedar Lodge for a grill out and some fishing. Yes, I’m the captain. It was a 3-hour tour.

For those of you that know me, you’ll agree that I’m kinda the guy that likes to cook. Unfortunately it ended up being a TON of work this weekend, just making breakfast. I’d scramble up 18 eggs, fry 2 pounds of bacon, and prepare a half a loaf of bread just to feed the “masses”. I kinda need a vacation from my vacation! I think that I’ll get some room service tonight when I get home 😉 Anyway, here’s a shot of our cabin, with me getting breakfast ready while my wife watches over me. Thanks for the help Laura, ha! Take a look around and you’ll find the essence of a true gamer. In our cabin, while on the lake, we have a Wii console hooked up to the TV. Yes, this is camping for ya!

I’m going to throw out a special that ends on Sunday night 6/22/08! Just use Coupon code “Wii” for $5 off of any BlackBerry Screen Repair. We have tons of screens in stock and we’re adding more Blackberry options weekly. Thanks for reading, talk to you soon! – Ryan

We’re Closed Friday the 13th!

Yes, it’s true. However it’s not because we’re superstitious – black cats don’t scare us! Actually, it’s our once-a-year company hiatus and we’re closed this Friday. It’s a chance for us to all get out of the office and spend a little time together as a group with our families off-site and we get to forget about iPod and MacBook repairs for a couple of days.

This year we are going to Table Rock Lake in southern Missouri. This lake is unbelievable being crystal clear and clean. We’ve got a 24 foot pontoon boat (with a BBQ grill on-board!) rented along with Kyle’s ski boat, and we’re going to have some fun on the lake. It’s basically 3 days of sun, fishing, tubing, wakeboarding and BBQ’ing.

At night we’ve rented several log cabins next to Silver Dollar City. Personally it’s one heck of a way to spend a few days. My kids are going to love it!

Anyway, we’ll be back in full-force Monday morning. Just for good measure, I’m going to throw out another special for this weekend only (June 13, 14th and 15th). $20 off our SLIM PSP LCD repair service. Use coupon code “BRANSON” when checking out and we’ll drop $20! Thanks for reading, we really appreciate it!
